Directions : Cross the new Queensferry bridge (heading South) , and take the first exit (Junction 1a) , up – ramp to the roundabout. Take the first exit off that roundabout signposted ( B924) to South Queensferry and after only 1/2 mile downhill , look out for a sharp LEFT turn signpost to Port Edgar, and Hopetoun House. Proceed along that shore road for 1 mile and do NOT go straight ahead into Hopetoun House , but take the RIGHT fork along the shore to the unsigned CAR PARK on the shore. (see map)
